Adhesive interlining is a kind of lining coated with hot melt adhesive, which is one of the accessories often used in garment production. The adhesive interlining is attached to the back of the cloth after heating and pressing. When the cloth needs to express its straightness and thickness, it can be reflected by adding adhesive interlining. Today, I'd like to introduce the function of interlining and its manual bonding process.

Specific function of adhesive interlining

1. So that clothing to obtain satisfactory shape, play the role of skeleton. On the premise of not affecting the handle and style of the fabric, with the help of the stiffness and elasticity of the adhesive interlining, the clothing can be made flat or achieve the expected shape.

2. Improve the wrinkle resistance and strength of clothing. The adhesive interlining is used on the collar, lapel, placket and front of the thin fabric garment to make the garment flat and wrinkle resistant. The clothing with lining is more durable because of the protection and fixation of a layer of adhesive interlining.

3. Make the hem clear, straight, beautiful, can play the role of decoration and beautification. In addition to the hem of clothing, such as: stop, cuff and cuff fork, hem and hem fork with adhesive interlining, can make the fold line more straight and clear.

4. Keep the stability of clothing structure shape and size, play the role of shape preservation. It is hard to avoid that some parts of the cut garment will be bent and inclined, such as neckline and armhole. However, after using the adhesive interlining, it can ensure the stability of the structure and size of the garment; some parts will be easily stretched and deformed during wearing, such as pocket mouth and button door, but it is not easy to stretch and deform after using the adhesive interlining.

Manual bonding process of bonded interlining

1. First of all, to find out which side has glue, and then place adhesive interlining, but also pay attention not to make mistakes on the front and back of the cloth.

2. In general, the iron temperature of thinner adhesive interlining is set at 125-135 ℃, and that of thicker adhesive interlining is set at 135-145 ℃; it is selected according to the type of fabric. For example, when the fabric is wool fabric, the "wool" mark temperature should be selected, while the "chemical fiber" mark temperature can be selected for chemical fiber fabric.

3. Press the iron in one place for 7-10 seconds, and pressure must be applied when pressing, and move it in sequence after sticking firmly. Pay attention not to leave an empty position when moving.
