Distinguish the difference between woven interlining and non-woven interlining by naked eye

There is only one word difference between the woven lining and the non-woven lining. One has one word and the other has no word. From the literal meaning, we can see that one is made of textile and the other is not made of textile. What are the differences between the two?

First of all, there is spinning lining

There are spinning interlinings, usually with key bar looms and water jet looms. Polyester is woven into base cloth.

The backing cloth with spinning interlining is woven or knitted. Knitted interlining is also called knitted interlining. Knitted interlining is generally divided into two types: double elastic knitted interlining and four elastic knitted interlining. The width of interlining is usually 110cm and 150cm.

The PA coating is now used for the spun interlining. In the past, the powder adhesive was usually used in the market. It is characterized by large amount of glue and simple production process. The disadvantage is that it is easy to produce the phenomenon of glue penetration because of large amount of glue. Now it has been eliminated.

The advanced technology is the two-point process without base slurry, which is characterized by easy control of gluing quantity, strong adhesion, washable and other special treatment. It is now used by most manufacturers. It is characterized by strong tensile force, good elasticity and washability.

Non woven lining:

As the name suggests, non-woven interlining is a kind of cloth that has not been woven.

Process principle: chemical fiber viscose through high temperature, high pressure to form base cloth. Then, a layer of hot-melt adhesive is coated on the surface of the base cloth by the coating machine, and then the non-woven lining cloth is formed by drying.

Usage: put the adhesive side of the lining on the fabric, and then heat it with a bonding machine or iron to melt the adhesive on the lining, so as to achieve the effect of bonding on the fabric.

Features: low price, soft feel, but not very washable (water temperature will be required, normally only under 70 ℃)
