In the production process of clothing technology, interlining is an indispensable auxiliary material, especially in autumn and winter. The role of interlining in the process of garment production is to shape the part of garment, to facilitate garment sewing, to shape the part of garment tall and straight and so on.
Performance of interlining
The physical properties of interlining include thickness, elasticity, ironing temperature and ironing pressure.
1. Non woven interlining and woven interlining have different thickness. Like fabric, the thickness of interlining is difficult to measure, which can only be judged by vision and perception. Generally, the thickness of interlining can be classified into three types: thin, medium and thick.
2. There are two kinds of elasticity in spinning interlining, one is the elasticity of elastic yarn material woven interlining itself, the other is the stretching degree of warp and weft system yarn weaving gap due to stretching; the elasticity of non-woven interlining is the stretching degree of itself.
3. Interlining ironing temperature refers to the melting temperature of interlining viscose. Generally, there are two kinds of interlining: high temperature interlining and low temperature interlining.
4. The firmness of interlining is related to the temperature, pressure and time of ironing. Generally, the pressure of high temperature interlining is relatively high and the ironing time is relatively long; on the contrary, the pressure of low temperature interlining is relatively low and the ironing time is relatively short.
Matching relationship between interlining performance and fabric performance
The matching relationship between interlining performance and fabric performance is an important factor in choosing interlining. The physical properties of fabric include fabric elasticity, fabric drape, fabric heat resistance and so on, which are closely related to the ironing of interlining.
1. The relationship between the thickness of the fabric and the thickness of the lining is in direct proportion. Autumn and winter clothing fabric is relatively thick, the selection of lining is also relatively thick, mainly choose spinning lining; on the contrary, spring and summer clothing fabric is thin, the selection of lining is also relatively thin.
2. The relationship between fabric elasticity and lining elasticity is also in direct proportion. Elastic lining is selected for elastic fabric, and lining with stretch is selected for fabric with stretch, so as to maintain the original characteristics of fabric.
3. The relationship between fabric drape and interlining is mainly shown in the following aspects: the interlining is relatively soft for soft and elegant clothing modeling; the rigid and thick interlining is used for exaggerated and geometric clothing modeling.
4. The relationship between fabric heat resistance and interlining ironing temperature. There are mainly: high heat resistance fabrics choose high heat setting temperature interlining; low heat resistance fabrics choose low heat setting temperature interlining.
