1、 Selection of adhesive interlining

1. Adhesive interlining is divided into non-woven fabric, woven fabric and knitted fabric. Nonwoven interlining has the advantages of no wrinkling, stable size and no shrinkage in washing; woven interlining adheres firmly to the fabric, in which the loose interlining is softer, and the tight interlining is stronger, so it can be selected according to the needs; knitted interlining can be used for knitted fabrics and sewing soft fabrics due to its extensibility and drapability.

2. The common colors of adhesive interlining are: white, light gray, medium gray, dark gray and black. In autumn and winter, dark color interlining or light color interlining can be selected for dark fabric according to process requirements; but in summer, the interlining similar to fabric color should be selected for thin fabric.

2、 Performance of adhesive interlining

1. It can be firmly bonded with fabric, with soft hand feeling and springback.

2. Low bonding temperature, shrinkage and fabric coordination.

3. When cutting, the Interlinings do not adhere to each other or stick to the cutting scissors.

4. It does not damage the physiology of clothing, such as air permeability and heat permeability.

3、 Use of adhesive interlining

Before using the adhesive interlining, it is necessary to test the accessories, fabrics and machines.

1. Fabric and interlining stick together, maintaining the same variability is extremely important. Therefore, in the use of woven adhesive interlining, no matter how the adhesive parts, the most important thing is that the fabric and interlining thread must be consistent.

2. When measuring the shrinkage of the adhesive interlining, the adhesive test must be carried out under normal conditions. From the point of view of characteristics, even if the shrinkage of the interlining itself is measured, it can not really achieve the matching between the interlining and the fabric; because different fabrics and different finishing of the fabric, the shrinkage is inconsistent, so only when the interlining and the fabric are bonded as a whole, and then the shrinkage is measured, can the correct and reliable data be obtained.

3. Adhesive interlining is divided into manual bonding and machine bonding, and machine bonding is divided into conveyor belt bonding machine and flat pressing bonding machine. But if you want to bond the interlining with the fabric firmly, you should master the three factors of temperature, pressure and time.
