Type of interlining

Lining type:

(1) Clothing interlining: refers to a kind of textile material applied to the inner layer of various parts of clothing in order to show the characteristics of clothing modeling design in clothing processing. Clothing lining is generally divided into non-woven lining and woven lining.

(2) Base cloth: commonly known as base cloth, weaving lining fabric.

(3) Cotton linen interlining: refers to the cotton or linen cloth that has not been finished or only starched and hard finished. It is a more primitive interlining.

(4) Woven resin black carbon lining: also known as wool lining, it is made of pure or blended cotton, chemical fiber and wool as light yarn, and blended chemical fiber with yak hair or other animal hair as weft yarn. It is woven into base cloth and finished with resin.

(5) Woven resin lining: cotton and chemical fiber pure spinning, blended woven or knitted fabric, after scouring, bleaching, dyeing and other finishing, and resin finishing made of lining. Resin lining for short.

(6) Woven (or knitted) hot melt adhesive interlining: cotton and chemical fiber pure or blended woven or knitted fabric, after scouring, bleaching, dyeing and other finishing, and evenly coated with thermoplastic hot melt adhesive. It is called woven adhesive lining for short.

Interlinings are classified according to their uses

1. Shirt fusible lining: it is required to be washable, small shrinkage, rigid and elastic. The base cloth is woven fabric, and PE or pet glue is used.

2. Coat fusible lining: it is required to be resistant to dry cleaning and water washing, soft and elastic. The base cloth can be woven fabric, knitted fabric, non-woven fabric, with PA, pet or PVC glue.

3. Leather adhesive lining: low pressing temperature, soft handle and poor washability are required. The base cloth is woven fabric, heavy textile fabric, EVA or PA glue.

4. Shoes and hats and decorative adhesive lining: low pressing temperature, low price, poor washability. The base cloth can be EVA, PE or PVC adhesive with nonwoven fabrics, woven fabrics or foam plastics.
